The AWDI Confidence-building, Personal-development, Integration and Community-participation Program (CPIC) is designed to deliver personal development and confidence building training to migrant women living in Co. Meath, with the aim of equipping them with the knowledge, attitude and skills required to build their confidence and develop themselves, so they not only participate in activities within their community, but also get socially involved.
This training will include practical activities that will require participants to work on activities that will involve linking into existing groups or activities in their community, and they will present on their outcome at the end of the project. Their linking with local activities will centre around highlight the importance and benefits of getting involved and participating in local & cultural activities in their community.
The project will run in October & November 2017 and will hold in 3 locations in County Meath (Navan, Oldcastle and Ashbourne). Limited Places available.
The CPIC Project is supported by the Communities Integration Fund
